Our Team

My yoga journey began in 2012 during my second pregnancy, seeking relief from sciatica and restless legs. After my son’s birth, I dedicated all of my spare time to my practice. Initially, it was about the physical aspect, but my connection deepened when I experienced a class that beautifully integrated yoga philosophy. That class marked the moment I truly found yoga—where it became more than movement, opening a spiritual path I had long needed. It gave me balance and helped me authentically explore spirituality for the first time.

Over the years, my personal practice has evolved, shaped by new beginnings, motherhood, and personal tragedy. I have had the privilege of studying under incredible teachers in the DFW Metroplex and exploring various styles of yoga. The spiritual practice, ritual, and personal development I’ve encountered through yoga have taught me invaluable lessons—slowing down, finding acceptance, and achieving balance.

In 2018, I embarked on a transformative journey through Yoga Teacher Training at Vibe Yoga under the guidance of Gayla Crysler and Heather Ward, with a focus on deepening my spiritual practice. My training in the history of yoga with Eric Shaw added to my understanding of yoga’s roots. Since then, I have completed additional training in Chakra Healing, Meditation, Pranayama, and Yin, accumulating over a thousand teaching hours.

As a teacher, my passion lies in honoring the rich tradition of yoga, fostering mindfulness, and guiding students to find balance both on and off the mat. In September 2024, I embarked on a life-changing journey to Peru, where I completed a 300-hour training in Yoga and Ayurveda with the School Yoga Institute. There, I studied under Raquel Bueno and Anita Sundaram, both of whom have been mentored by profound teachers like Mas Vidal, Rod Stryker, Dr. Vasant Lad, and Chase Bossart.

Outside of my yoga life, I co-own a tattoo studio with my husband, and we have three children. I also love cooking and have a deep passion for holistic practices, rituals, and astrology. As a Sagittarius, I am driven by a thirst for learning and adventure.

Haylie is an eternal student of the world who first discovered the practice of yoga while competing as an athlete in high school. What initially began as a physical component to her routine, she quickly realized the significant mental, emotional, and spiritual effects of the practice and fell in love. While pursuing her Bachelor’s degree at the University of Texas at Austin, she decided to take her study of yoga deeper and in 2022 completed her 200 hr RYT through Alpha Omega Yoga. Upon returning to DFW after graduating in 2023, she immediately sought out studios where she might help spread the light and wisdom of yoga, leading her to Yogadana. After her initial interview, Haylie knew this was the space she was looking for, prioritizing authenticity, community, and the true meaning of yoga. Haylie has been an instructor here since, although took a temporary leave during her sojourn abroad in Berlin, Germany, where she completed a 30hr training in the style of Katonah Yoga. She hopes to complete her Katonah Yoga certification within the next year, and in the meantime is excited to continue teaching various styles from Vinyasa, Yin, Gentle, and Fusion.

I began my yoga journey over 20 years ago and it was love at first practice! Leaving the studio that first time gave me that sense of peace and calmness that I had never really felt before. It taught me how to slow down and live in the present moment. In 2017, I decided to deepen my own practice by completing a 200-hour teacher training. Through the teacher training experience, I fell in love with teaching and witnessing the dramatic growth mentally, spiritually, and physically of my students. I am currently continuing to deepen my own practice and teaching by completing a 500-hour teacher training. Off the mat, I enjoy traveling (32 countries so far), hiking (highest point – Mt. Kilimanjaro) and spending time with my husband and children. I look forward to seeing you on your mat. Namaste!!

I’m Katharine, I began practicing yoga in the 2000’s for strength and flexibility to supplement my soccer practice and quickly began to notice the many other benefits Yoga can offer.

Over the years my interest and knowledge grew and in 2015, I completed my 200hr Yoga teacher training at Namah Shivaya Yoga. Also in 2015, I became an ICRT certified Holy Fire Karuna Reiki ® Master.

For me, Yoga, Meditation, and Reiki have been powerful self-discovery tools that connect me to the unlimited healing potential within and that we all hold. These practices continually inspire me to unify my mind, body, and spirit, and I lead each class or session with this focus.

I hope my passion and love for these practices inspire you to tap into your own conscious healing potential and explore self study so you can align with your truest Self living a life you love.

Outside the studio, you can catch me adventuring out in nature, painting, traveling, and relaxing with my husband and son. I look forward to meeting all of you!

Though I work in the corporate world by day, yoga has always been my true home. As a motivated and intuitive yoga instructor with over a decade of teaching experience, I bring a grounded yet energetic presence to every class. Certified in Restorative Yoga, trained in Ashtanga principles, and specialized in Mental Health First Aid, I’ve found purpose in guiding students not just through poses, but through healing, breath, and personal transformation.

My journey as a teacher has been deeply reciprocal—I’ve received sobriety coins from students and witnessed firsthand how their courage and growth have changed my life more than I could ever imagine. Whether I’m working with veterans navigating PTSD, beginners seeking stillness, or advanced practitioners refining their flow, I customize each experience to the individual, always focusing on connection, mindfulness, and empowerment.

I strive to create inclusive spaces that inspire others to pursue wellness, honor their journey, and commit to long-term mental and physical health. I’m a lifelong learner, a team player, and an encouraging leader, always seeking to expand my understanding and serve my community with compassion.

With 15 years immersed in the world of bodywork, I’ve dedicated my career to helping people find physical and emotional solace through massage therapy. Over the years, I’ve honed my skills, becoming proficient in various techniques aimed at alleviating pain, reducing stress, and enhancing overall well-being.

My journey as a massage therapist stems from a deep-seated desire to make a positive impact on people’s lives. Beyond mere physical relief, I believe in the profound connection between the body and mind. Witnessing the transformative power of touch, I’ve made it my mission to create nurturing environments where individuals can experience holistic healing.

As part of Yogadana Studio, I am thrilled to merge the realms of yoga and massage therapy, amplifying the transformative potential of both practices. Together, we aim to expand the horizons of wellness, offering clients a comprehensive approach to physical and emotional harmony.
